[HELP]-[BigWigs] Event to chat /s
Main Post:
Hello there.
I've searching for this functionality for a while now. I need a way to broadcast the messages from BigWigs to my /s chat for my group to see better. I know it is somewhat redundant, but it would definitely help with some mechanics.
If you are familiar with BW, you know there is a countdown option for each spell of each boss. If I could send that countdown to chat, that'd be awesome.
Thanks for any advice.

Have you tried looking in the individual bosses settings. Otherwise you can make a weak aura to trigger off a message in Bigwigs - may not be a countdown but at the very least you can /s "x seconds until <spell>" each time.
Quadcast S not working in game chat (Valorant)
Main Post:
This is the second Quadcast s I’ve had thats had this issue. I returned the first one because it stayed really quiet in discord and voice chat (even while being turned up to the highest gain knob and windows/discord and Valorant game chat volume for testing).
Luckily I was able to get a refund/replacement since I had only had it a few days. This one had seemed to have solved the issue. Was working great in discord and game chat until recently. The mic sometimes picks up my voice in game and most of the time not.
When I playback the audio in windows “listen” option and in game, it sounds perfectly fine.
No settings have changed in windows volume, discord or Valorant. I have the most recent drivers for everything and the wire to the mic is fine. Have searched everywhere and cannot find an answer or solution besides buying a new microphone. Not sure why this has happened TWICE now.

Seeing you've experienced the same issue with two different units, it's probably something with the system or configuration. Let's see if we can find the cause :) !
For a start, please go to https://www.speakpipe.com/voice-recorder, record yourself speaking into the microphone, click the "Save on Server" button, and share the link with us so we can hear what your microphone sounds like.
Once we get a better idea as to what your mic sounds like, it'll help us narrow down the cause and proceed to the next step :) .
Also, please share as much info as possible about your setup, microphone positioning, etc. :) .
HyperX Alpha S chat mixer not working
Main Post:
The chat mixer on this headset worked when I got it but for some reason recently it doesn’t. My chat volume is tied to the game volume, and I’m not sure how to fix it. Any ideas?
Top Comment:
It seems there was a bug with one of the earlier updates that caused this issue with a range of headsets, but it was soon after fixed. Have you tried updating/reinstalling Discord ever since this issue had occurred to see if that helps? If not, please do and let us know. Also, make sure your USB sound card is properly configured in the Windows Sound control panel as well as Discord Voice & Video menu.

Reddit chat is not safe as you think!
Main Post:
Hello to Reddit chat users!
As you know, Reddit Chat has the ability to create a group for the purpose of communicating with more than two people at the same time.
I'm a moderator on a subreddit where, until a year ago, communication between moderators was exclusively through Mod Discussions (to be fair, there wasn't much communication until then).
On my initiative, we switched to Reddit chat and I created two mod groups there (one for serious stuff, one for everything else).
Half a year ago, three moderators stopped being moderators, and accordingly they were removed from both mod groups.
You probably know that Reddit has publicly released a new and modern version of the chats, which were previously under Legacy Chats.
A few days ago, Reddit completely switched to a new form of chat, and that's where the problem comes in - most of the conversations that weren't started this year have disappeared.
However, although at first it seems that these chats have completely disappeared - I would not say that this is exactly the case.
An ex-mod (who was removed from both groups 6 months ago) contacted me and stated that he requested a copy of data Reddit has about his account. What is shocking is the fact that among the data there is a full transcript of the same mod group from which he was removed 6 months ago. So, even though he was removed a long time ago, he still has insight into the most recent messages, so not only up to the period when he was in the group.
Even worse, there are links in the transcript (i.redd.it) that lead to pictures that we sent to each other in the group chat. The worst part is that some of the pictures contain personal information that some users mistakenly sent us for the purpose of AMA verification. This was sent as a screenshot for the other mods because some of them were not able to see Modmail normally in the official app (is there anything that loads normally in that official app?). Luckily, we switched mod communication to Discord about a month ago.
And the best part - Reddit also stores deleted chat messages.
Of course, the report was sent to Reddit, but I'm not hoping for a better response than "Thanks for the report, our eng team is working hard on it!".
Is this the quality that Reddit provides to users after forcing them to use the official app?
Top Comment: The new chat just straight up doesn't work too. People are telling me they're getting notifs from me MONTHS after I send messages. Seriously, legacy chat worked fine.

Mobile web Why did they make Reddit chat app only now?? Now I can't chat with my friends without downloading the app and I can't because of parental controls!
